Hubb PCMA 2017 Recap

Hubb participated in our first PCMA Convening Leaders conference earlier this week, held this year in beautiful and warm Austin. While we sadly missed Matthew McConaughey’s opening remarks due to rare snow-related delays at the Portland International Airport (not all right all right alright!), we were able to fully engage with the conference and its attendees over our three days in Texas, spreading the word about how best-in-breed event technology tools like Hubb can dramatically simplify event content management.

It was a busy week; in addition to having a pod in Tech Central, Hubb Marketing Director Raime Merriman pitched Hubb as part of the Tech Pitch Competition, left (photo by Alex Paxen), and Hubb Director of Sales John Tonini demoed Hubb and answered questions as part of the virtual conference, below.

One thought that stuck with us came from Matt Sanderson, CEO of SmithBucklin, as he spoke about the challenges and opportunities facing associations. He spoke about how expectations for audiences are always going to be “what have you done for me lately,” and how this point-of-view will present challenges for assciation event managers, especially for those who operate on limited budgets. This speaks to the problem facing event managers, as well as the opportunity presented by Hubb. Because Hubb can help you get your event content ready to publish 50% faster, and can reduce the amount of time you spend on event content-related work by 65%, event managers are freed to spend more time doing what they do best; thinking strategically about how to make their events an amazing experience that exceeds their attendees expectations year after year.

If you didn’t have time to meet us in Austin (or you weren’t in Austin!) and you want to see what powerful event technology like Hubb can do, here’s a 4 minute demo
